Bachelorette Games To Stay Far Away From
So, I went to a bachelorette party recently and got a funny story out of it. One of my good friends was getting married; her maid of honor did a splendid job with the party.
The decorations were gorgeously done, and all the bride's friends were invited to come. There were also a lot of fun bachelorette games planned. As it turned out, one of them was a bad idea.
This game involved margaritas. The maid of honor thought it would be amusing if everyone drank margaritas and asked each other questions. You had to finish up your drink if there was a question you didn't want to answer. That didn't seem like a bad idea at first.
What girl doesn't love to tell funny stories and gossip, especially when there's a large group of us? However, with some of the questions these ladies were coming up with, halfway through the game the entire place looked like an AA meeting. It would have been better if we moved on to one of the other bachelorette games, but everyone was stuck on this one.
Some of them ended up spilling their guts about their husbands or boyfriends while sobbing. What started as funny stories about the guys ended up being a contest as to who had the worst guy!
Some of the others were reassuring the sobbing girls before telling their own stories. Towards the end of it all, at least a couple of girls were all but passed out on the beautiful party decorations. This is one of those bachelorette games gone wrong.
I saw back and watched it all in horror, since I remained one of the few sober ones. As I started to leave, I caught myself wondering if there was still going to be a wedding?
